Trustees
Trustees are responsible for promoting the work of Maher Foundation, raising donations, allocating loans to the students and providing on-going advice and support throughout their academic years. The Foundation is a registered Charity and therefore trustees have certain legal obligation to the Charity Commission of England. Trustees are all volunteers with each member contributing in varying capacity to the benefit of underprivileged young Mahers.

Dr Ram G Sisodiya

Born in Tanzania in 1942. Left for UK in 1963 to pursue BSc in Civil Engineering , Kings College , London. Migrated to Canada to do MSc followed Phd in Structural Engineering at University of Calgary. He is the first Maher Doctorate. He taught at McGill University and later joined oil industry. He took retirement in 1995 and now spends 30% of his time dedicated to Maher Foundation.
